Scientific Research
Scientific research holds a special place in the development of Healthy Generation SU. Since 2012, our research activities have covered public health, reproductive medicine, the impact of environmental factors on human health, the molecular mechanisms of longevity, and adaptive physiology.
Over the years, research has been conducted within projects funded by the Science Foundation under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as well as through international research programs.
Major Research Projects
Study of the Health Status of Internally Displaced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh
A comprehensive study of the health status of a socially vulnerable population group, with particular attention to medical and social factors and women’s reproductive health.
Role: Project Leader.
Biogeochemical Zoning and Regional Forecasting of the Health Status of the Population of Azerbaijan
A study of the relationship between regional biogeochemical characteristics of the environment and population health indicators.
Role: Project Participant.
Development of the Molecular Genetic Foundations of Longevity
An international research project focused on studying the biological and molecular genetic mechanisms associated with lifespan and the phenomenon of longevity.
Role: Co-Principal Investigator.
A Multidisciplinary Approach to Studying the Structural and Functional Properties of Proteins in Health and Disease
An interdisciplinary study of the molecular mechanisms underlying the functioning of the human body and the changes associated with pathological processes.
Role: Project Participant.
2018–2020
Study of Quality of Life and Longevity among Populations Living in Areas of Azerbaijan with Elevated Natural Background Radiation
An international research project conducted jointly with Ukrainian scientists within the framework of STCU Grant No. 6402.
The study focused on assessing the health, quality of life, and characteristics of longevity among populations living for extended periods in areas with elevated natural background radiation.
Role: Co-Principal Investigator.
2025–2027
Effects of Naturally Occurring Radiation and Adaptive Physiology of the Human Body
A research project continuing the investigation of the effects of natural environmental factors on the human body.
Particular attention is given not only to the potential effects of natural radiation exposure, but also to the mechanisms of physiological adaptation and resilience of the human body.
Role: Co-Principal Investigator.
From Research to New Ideas
Years of research in reproductive health, environmental medicine, adaptive physiology, and longevity have gradually shaped new areas of research at Healthy Generation SU.
Today, it is at the intersection of these fields that new ideas in personalized and predictive medicine, digital health monitoring, and the study of the body’s functional reserves are being developed.
For us, scientific research is not a separate area of activity, but the foundation from which new ideas, projects, and technologies emerge.
